The device works, but not in the form supplied. The seal is too short. When you twist it to tighten it won't sit on the hard RV tube. You may feel like it isn't sealing properly as there is little to no pressure when turning. I was leaking from the start and no reinstall or adjustment wiggle was able to fix it. I went to a fleet store and bought an RV drain line gasket kit for about $4 a kit. Replaced the adapter washer with a new larger washer and it fits snugly and is noticeably harder to turn and tighten. I let gray water through and there have been no leaks, no leaks since. If you find this I would suggest also buying a gasket kit to be safe, but the fitting manufacturer should supply the best gasket from the factory.
