Oh my God! I love this little tray! I have OCD and I love good organization and making things work perfectly! Every week I sit in my car and look at things on my phone, which I use as a mini iPad. It has a lid that allows it to sit, but I had to have my hands free and above my knees, and it works great! I won't be using a laptop on it, but it seems sturdy enough for that. It fits perfectly on the steering wheel of my 2007 Lexus GX470. WARNING - it will NOT fit my husband's '98 Lexus ES350 with a COVERED steering wheel. I think it will fit without the cap but it was too hard for me to remove to check. I don't think it will fit on a wrapped handlebar. The bottom two notches connecting the outer circle and center of the steering wheel secure the tray. Using the measurements provided, ensure that the tips of the tray arms can rest against the back of any part of the slots when measuring. They don't need to be wrapped around themselves like I thought.
