I have always liked using quality leather products and have bought various Polare products (e.g. backpacks, duffel bags, etc.) in recent years. The Polar Full Grain Leather Desk Pad/Pad/Protective Pad offers consistently high quality and value for money as have other products I have purchased. The thick dark chocolate matte provides a great surface for my laptop and mouse. While I've only just started using it, my mouse glides smoothly over its surface and I'm happy with it. One of the reasons I have always chosen Polare products over the competition is because I know they are always of the highest quality and I have never had to return them for any reason.
