UPDATE: Blown out after 9 months. I opened the fan, inside it's sparkling clean. So no, it's not clogged with dust which, as you might expect, could set it on fire. It's just an inferior piece. Okay I give this part 5 stars for knowing. If it blows up in a few months, I'll be back. Installing the old part and inserting it is very easy. Only 4 screws. The problem is that we don't need the entire heating element. Well, maybe some of you know, but all I needed was a thermal fuse. This is a Microtemp G4A00 110C fuse. I guarantee you that 99% of people who need a new heating element just need a new fuse. Two problems. Good luck finding the part. And if it does, it's not an easy install. The fuse is held in place by two rivets. Therefore, most people just buy the item and enjoy the warmth.
