I'm just starting out with jewelry making and I LOVE these tools. They are a great size for my small hands and are very good at bending, twisting and cutting wire. I used my husband's regular pliers to bend the wire and the combs left gouges. They look and feel sturdy and have so far met all my needs for making intricate earrings and necklaces, and at a reasonable price. I like one of the included tools that does it all in one. She bends perfect circles, cuts, closes rings and straightens bent wire. As I said, I'm new to the art of making wire jewelry so there may be better advanced tools out there, but they work great for me. Although I am NOT a novice buyer and always read reviews from other buyers. Compare reviews of other kits before making your final decision. Have fun beading! :-)
