A few days before "everything" closed I knew it was coming and I wanted to go to the nail salon one last time but of course life intervened. So I discovered I had painted nails that should have been removed about two weeks earlier. I decided to try this gadget and was pleasantly surprised. I will say that you need a little patience. With the dip/powder it took me about 3 cycles per hand and about 90 minutes from start to finish. However, it was worth it! My nails looked smooth and not at all what they would look like if I tried to soak or peel them off. FYI: I wasn't sure if scraping tools were included, so I ordered them separately. THE TOOLS ARE INCLUDED! All you need to buy is acetone. It says you can use regular nail polish remover, but I would use acetone if you're using anything other than "regular" nail polish. Setup was very easy and fairly self-explanatory. I love that you just turn it on and it preheats for a few minutes and then tells you when to put your nails in and when to take them out. Every time you take them out, use the scraper to gently scrape off the product you have. As I mentioned above I did this 3 times per hand (once in the whole process I added some acetone). I could probably stop after two uses but I wanted to remove any product residue. Given that nail salons typically charge for product withdrawals, I think I'll continue to use this as salons reopen.
