My first baby is 7 months old and has just started the changing phase. I have to say how soft and breathable they are. We swaddled her in the colder months and I felt she was warm enough in her pajamas with her legs underneath. Well, it's summer in Arizona and I've only let her sleep with legs in her pajamas, but she's been tossing and turning a lot. So I gave her one of these and she excitedly squeezed and kicked it, but then calmed down and fell asleep. I'm not too worried about letting her cover it up because I know she won't overheat. Sometimes when I was diapering her, she would put the cloth on her face at night and I would go to correct her, but the cloth was so light and breathable that I didn't have to worry. I tried other diapers and found them to be uncomfortable and didn't allow her hips to bend properly. However, they are very versatile, I've even occasionally slung one over my shoulder while breastfeeding. Hope this review helps.
