Filter is fine but there may be a manufacturing defect. Keep an eye on the presence of sand in the bath and replace it immediately. About 6 months later, before I could replace it, the filter burst. As a result, many grains of sand kept getting into my bathtub. Not sure how to get them out of the sewer, probably difficult or expensive to hire someone to do it. Otherwise a decent filter for my area where the water is really good so it doesn't get heavy ion loading. .
