I bought this for a Timex automatic watch that came with a metal bracelet. I saw a picture of a black strap with blue stitching and realized how it looked would complement the black dial and unique blue second hand.The strap came with new spring bars and I already had the right tool to press them together so removing the old strap and putting on the new strap was fairly easy and only took a few minutes .I performed the operation on a towel spread out on a sheet of glass.If you do NOT have a spring bar tool I recommend ordering one with your order for a new strap as it allows you to remove your old strap/strap without scratching your watch.Once installed, the bracelet looks great and (admittedly) makes alright) Timex looks MUCH more expensive than a watch. I wear the buckle set to the third watch hole (of seven available) and it sits comfortably on my 7 inch wrist, with some slack to allow my wrist to breathe. Materials are of good quality throughout and assembled. with good craftsmanship. The clasp is made of polished stainless steel and harmonises perfectly with the polished parts of the watch case. The leather has a black grain top and bottom (meaning the part you can see and the part that's on your wrist), and the blue accent stitching is straight and evenly spaced. Not only is this a cheap strap replacement for cheap watches, the strap is good enough to fit expensive watches too. The only caveat might be that those with larger wrists might need a slightly longer size. It fits my 7″ wrist perfectly and 7 1/2″ fits too. There are four more holes for adjustments over 7 inches, but if the strap were adjusted for an 8 inch wrist there would not be a large "tail" through the buckle to fit under the two leather keepers. Maybe the manufacturers could offer a "standard" and a "long" size (maybe another 10mm)?
