These are great little speakers paired with a quality amplifier and even a tiny subwoofer (like the b&w 608). I'm not an audiophile with my nose in the air, but I'm certainly picky and have sensitive ears. BTW, my main hifi is a pair of B&W 804 Nautilus Towers and a 12" B&W ASW1000 subwoofer - I use the sub when I'm watching movies to feel the trucks coming or whatever, but when I'm vinyl hear I don't I use sub I use a 804 bi-amp with four separate mono blocks and my turntable is a custom CF arm with acrylic top mod pickup and phono stage right now I use a NAD preamp because I love the remote control and the ability to stream music over Wi-Fi with BluOS However.. as for those tiny speakers. I have three different pairs of these. For my desktop workstation I hooked them up to a tiny Class A tube amp and they sound fantastic in a tiny room.In my other setups I've paired them with a NAD 320BEE and a 608 subwoofer which makes a great bedroom hifi setup.Of course they don't deliver much on their own Bass punch but I wouldn't expect that from a tiny speaker and even when paired with a tiny subwoofer it fills the room. For a kid's room with a TV I paired a NAD C715 and a B&W 608 and they sound great in a small room. Allen keys are required to switch from a desk mount to a wall mount hidden in the base of the integrated desk mount stand. Smart. Well designed. They are easy to mount on the wall without additional fasteners or anything like that. Whether you run them at 25w or 50w, they sound beautiful and I've never heard them overheat or overload. I'm 50 years old and have an absurd amount of audio equipment from all eras - modern and vintage - hand-made tube amps, state-of-the-art external DACs and the like. I refuse to spend big bucks on power cords made out of snake oil, oxygen-free copper, or anything like that, and I like to think I can tell the difference between things that look cool and things that sound great. Sometimes someone gets lucky and you get cool and cool. Sometimes someone is very lucky and can find it at an affordable price. Those are the little speakers. Drive it with a good amp and drive your favorite subwoofer from it - you won't be disappointed.
