These are really great ballerinas for girls. It's a stretchy leather that doesn't need to be broken in. They have a durable leather upper and a suede sole. This is the third pair I've bought for my daughter. She wears Nike size 10.5-11 and size 11 flats and has little room to walk. They should fit snugly on the leg, stretch and grow with the foot. The elastic is well stitched and reliable. No ties or things to fuss over. Overall just a well made and wonderful shoe. Just a few dollars more and way better than what you can buy at the big store.
