Wrapped this around my S2000 compartment to keep the temperature in the engine bay after installing the large bulkhead/shelf. You'll need to cut out a few sections and attach them with wire. It smelled like burning for a good 500 miles but eventually calmed down. He did a good job of reducing radiant heat. Infrared measurements showed a reduction of 200-300 degrees Fahrenheit between the bare head and the outside of the case. Unfortunately, it became quite brittle after firing. My header broke after 2,000 miles with it and when I took the header off to weld it the stuff completely fell apart like burnt paper. Next I'm going to use Eastwood's homemade ceramic interior coating to see if it holds up better and doesn't encourage cracking.
