I had another wallet that looked identical to this one with a few exceptions. The inner skin is white (at least on the purple model), which I like better. Two major updates in this case that set it apart from others that look the same. First, the part of the case that houses the phone isn't made of hard plastic, but rather flexible TPU. On my old wallet, this part was made of hard plastic, which broke and chipped over time. The second update is the plastic on the transparent card slot. Whoever designed this realized how difficult it is to get the card out of the slot, as it's literally stuck to the smooth plastic. The plastic used in this version has a matte texture that won't stick to cards and makes it easier to remove. A hole in the plastic that allows your thumb to push it up and out of this slot also makes this task easier. These are small improvements that you might not think of until you buy them. It was given more thought than other types I've used.
