Significant improvement in steering wheel feel

As others have said this film makes the steering wheel a bit thicker and feels sportier to me which is exactly what I wanted. It also looks fantastic, much better than the stock steering wheel. I used all the blue threads. A few tips: 1. Before you start sewing, make sure both edges of the wrap line up with the steering wheel stripe and the wrap segments line up on either side - you'll have stripes in the wrap that run perpendicular to the main cross-stitch - make sure they match. in the middle of the spokes. I was offset by one stitch on one side and had to redo it to get the perfect alignment. 2. The tape is most important behind the 9 and 3 o'clock needles, once you've sewn you can't get in there and you want the wrap to fit snugly in those places. I glued the entire foil as indicated in the instructions3. Make sure you hook the entire loop with each cross stitch, if you accidentally get caught between the fibers of one of the stitches you'll loosen/risk breaking it at the same time and it won't look as good. Sew back to fit - trust me, it's worth it4. Get as consistent tension as possible with each stitch, if I were to repeat the wrap I could do better as I came in with little to no sewing experience. Wrong for more thread than less, you don't want it to end in the middle of the needle but don't overdo it because it will make sewing difficult. Take your time, it took me about 4 hours. If I were to do it again I could probably do it in 3 since I was much better at coordinating with the needle by the time I was ready. Also thanks to the seller for adding more than enough yarn and ribbon. You have extra ribbon and more than enough thread to sew everything in one color - if that's what you want.
