I live in Southern California where it's not that cold, but winter nights can get a bit chilly. I was adopted by a feral cat and worried about keeping him warm at night. He doesn't like going to animal shelters and prefers to sleep on a blanket in the dog bed. I found some old hand warmers from the days of sitting outside in the cold watching kids play sports and thought this would help keep the kitty warm at night. It seemed to work and I ordered a box of these. I put one of those heating pads in his bed, under his covers, around 9pm and it's still warm in the morning. These things are great, they provide the perfect amount of warmth and last all night long. I'm on the second box. The cat loves it.
