Review on 🏺 Weck 741 - 0.25L Mold Jars with Lids - Set of 6 Rings and 12 Clamps by Ashley Stolen

I've had Weck tins of various sizes for years and never had a problem prior to this batch. I've never broken one and dropped more than one. Half of them broke in the first 4 months of VERY normal use, and all the fillings expanded to completely unusable sizes (even after going from dishwasher to hand wash). The first cracked in sous vide. Thank goodness it was just a cheesecake and nothing more important. The second cracked when put on top of each other and wasn't careless or rude at all. The third broke in the dishwasher. I wash very fragile double wall glasses as well as Riedel wine glasses in this dishwasher on standard settings and this has never happened. The photos show the difference in the seals. The new version (or maybe a copy/fake/fake) is on the left and you can see the concentric circles/ribbed pattern which is different from my old seals. In the future I will be buying direct from their website and will update this review if I happen to learn that this is currently just an issue with wake production in general.
