I really thought this was going to be the perfect taillight. I should have read the product description more carefully. It's going back to revain.I wanted a light for my kid's bike that would turn on and off automatically when he begins and ends his ride to school, and would flash or pulse continuously under all conditions (day or night time) so that drivers can see him. He's a kid, and he forgets to turn the light on. I want to keep him safe.This light has a mode in which it can turn on and off automatically at the beginning and end of a ride. It also has a mode in which it will pulse continuously whether it is dark or light out.The problem is that those are TWO DIFFERENT MODES. There is no way to get BOTH features. You can only have one or the other. If you set it in the mode where it turns on or off automatically when you start or stop moving, then it ALSO activates a setting that shuts off the light when it is light outside. That's not safe! But if you set it in the mode where it pulses continuously even when it is light outside, then it won't turn on or off automatically.This is just plain lousy product design. I can't imagine why they designed it this way. It's so close to a perfect product, but it fails.
