Hot glue melts in the sun!

The hot glue holding it together has melted in the sun. The boxwood branches had fallen off and there was melted hot glue everywhere. So dirty. Then I had to glue them back and leave them inside. Looks good indoors but I couldn't use it for my front door as intended.
