I like this product but your adhesive strip on the back of the light strip is not very sticky. I installed my flashlight upside down under the edge of the bed and I sprayed foil so the sticky tape just wouldn't stick and using those plastic straps with screws was definitely not an option as the screws would go through the top. So I came up with another idea that sure works and it worked, the clear silicone was the ticket 👍 and it held the light in place without too much trouble 😁 and best of all the silicone can be permanent if you wish it. Now for the installation wiring part. I decided to hook up a wire harness to my truck switch that comes with my truck so all the lights come on when pushed, the truck bed is the cargo area after all. I didn't use the switch attached to the light kit wiring harness, I just bypassed it and extended the power wires to get to the truck light switch wiring and voila. They work like a charm and now I'm looking for something in mine. Truck assembly is as easy as pressing a button 🤩 Durability and waterproofing remains to be seen. But for now they look great.
