This swaddle is larger than other swaddle wraps, making it more effective in creating a diaper that baby cannot escape from. We used it with information from The Happiest Child on DVD Block and it was the only thing that put our daughter to sleep for the first three weeks. No other reception/changing blanket was good because it could break out of the other blankets. She still prefers being wrapped in this blanket to sleep at night at 6 weeks. We had to buy three so we always had one on hand in case she got them dirty. Now I'm giving that and a DVD to every mother-to-be. This blanket was a lifesaver!
