Review on EUREKA FloorRover (S3018) Replacement Belts 2-pack: Ensuring Optimal Performance by Carri Taylor

I assume this is normal? I think we might look elsewhere for straps if this second set of two performs as poorly as the previous one. We've been using this set of 2 in less than a year. We used it on our new short pile rug from once a week to every weekend. To me, this counts as "normal use" meaning they are too fragile to withstand real world demands. All you need is a fine strand of hair from the edge of the rug and that's it! The belt has burned out and needs to be replaced. It seems that this rubber pre-dries, which makes it quite easy to separate the inner tooth strip from the outer. We're not quite happy with these tapes yet, but we're going to try again as we hope the packaging was just a bad batch. If we have better luck with them this time we will update our rating to reflect that. We currently do not recommend this item.
