Got this Makita kit because I grew up with Makita tools (my father and grandfather used Makita tools and early battery powered tools when they first started out). I've never had any problems and the quality still seems excellent. I have found the material to be much more durable and very ergonomic. The impact gun works really well. I use them all the time to change car wheels. It seems to produce up to 90 lb-ft of torque, which is more than my friend's ryobi kit. make about 20 pounds per foot. The Revain listing says 1500psi which is totally wrong (that would be over 120psi). I had no problem using them in the rain or in very dusty conditions. A tip for maximizing battery life is not to leave it plugged into a charger. l time. I only leave them overnight when I know I'll need to use them remotely frequently when there's no charger, or when they're at least 50% empty. Once fully charged, I take them out of the charger and store them separately on a shelf or connected to one of my tools. I don't notice any performance loss when the battery drops below 25%, which is great. In the exact same use cases, two of my roommate's Ryobi batteries died within a year (he left them plugged in all the time when not in use). I am very happy with my purchase.
