Review on Universal Stand Adjustable Management 400X400Mm Furniture by Jennifer Shetty

Good quality, a little wobbly on Toshiba 32″

Bought to replace a 32″ TV (Toshiba TF-32A710U21) that had legs instead of the usual center stand. It didn't even cross my mind when I was buying a new TV; Never had legs. Regardless, I know. I ordered this stand to eliminate this problem. Straight out of the box, unassembled, it's a well weighted, good quality item. All parts are numbered alphabetically in 2 plastic bags with compartments which is very nice. Step 1, assembling the stand with the glass stand, is a bit messy though. The supplied Allen key was used for the two required screws (T) M8X25/3 and a Philips socket for the third screw. For real? As I said, a trifle and oddity, but I had to get a screwdriver. The next problem was with the Vesa mount. The supplied screws (F) M4x30/4 were TOO LONG! Now the picture of the screws in the instructions looks even much shorter, but actually that's not what we were given. Even trying the supplied (B) M6M8/8 spacers didn't work reliably. Luckily, as I was looking through the reviews, I noticed that several people were using the screws that attached the TV's legs to the TV. So I tried that and yes it worked. But now the monitor arms hung ridiculously low, pointing below the TV. My guess is that the Vesa mount is on the bottom of the TV, not in the middle. The holes for the top bracket were already at the lowest mounting point so there was nothing that could be done. In desperation, I reversed the monitor arms by inserting a cannulated screw into the bottom of the VESA mount. The monitor arm is sticking out a little now and eventually DH can just cut it off with one of his tools, but for now DD is putting on a pair of earrings. The safety latches (O) will not fit on the monitor arms in this position. I personally think this would work perfectly on a 32" TV if the Vesa mount was centered on the TV. I might be wrong. But I did it. work fortunately.
