This fabric will discolour your fabric, so only use it in invisible areas (e.g. on the wrong side of the fabric or inside the seam allowance). I used it to mark a stitch line on the top of the quilt and ended up with ugly yellow stains that didn't go away. I've tried every suggestion I could find on the internet to remove it such as a combination of water and vinegar, a wash with detergent, a stick for heavy water stains etc (it was white so it won't damage the paint). I *really* don't know why Clover sells a product that has so many stains without a big warning label. This makes it very easy to use. The snap roller makes marking fabrics much easier than using traditional tailor's chalk.
