Something is wrong with this batch. I've been using M&G for many years and their rum flavor has always been my favorite. When I ordered it from Revain it was clearly not rum, even though the bottle said 'rum'. It smelled and looked nothing like the smell of rum I was familiar with. I would attribute it to a recipe change, but it's more than that. It's not the same soap. It has a pungent lime scent and was acidic on my skin. I showered with him once and it literally hurt like bathing in alcohol. This is how I imagine showering with washing-up liquid. Whatever it is, it's 100% non-Malin and Goetz soap, and I'm concerned about what exactly I'm putting on my body. Since then I've been using it as a hand soap, but I've stopped using it as well because it irritated my hands. From now on I buy directly from M&G.
