These lights are designed to fit standard 4" recessed downlights with standard electrical connections for the latest LED fixtures. They offer clean, bright white light that lives up to their 3000K label but isn't harsh. They are inserted into jars and securely connected in minutes. Since these are ceiling lights, the direction of the light cone cannot be adjusted. However, the 25 degree blur effect can be boosted at will by simply replacing the screw-on lens with a 15 degree lens that sharpens the edges for a more pinpoint effect (sold separately). I installed 40 myself in glasses my electrician installed for a home renovation a year ago. They work great and dim the light beautifully with modern electronic dimmers and I save money on electricity because they are more energy efficient compared to incandescent and halogen bulbs. I love her.
