Audio Technica moving coil cartridge defective.

Total disappointment. The product description contains detailed information on the high-quality manufacture of the pad and how it is intended to improve the sound at the output of your turntable. The mat had a large amount of loose particles on both sides. I used a lint roller to remove the particles but there are too many of them - see photos. Some of these particles are very dense. Strong enough to break the tip of my Audio Technica moving coil needle. I returned to Revain and asked for a refund.
