Only two to connect a DVR with battery saving function. Chose this on the recommendation of a friend. Seems to work pretty well as my fuse box is hidden behind a baffle cover so there are no gap issues so I can't comment on the gap. The plug itself seems a little shorter than the metal plug on the fuses, but it doesn't fall out after a bit of use. The fuses that come with it, when you put them in the slots there is no gap between the two fuses so it's a bit trickier to remove, but I was able to pull the blown fuse out with no problem. Another review mentioned that instructions are included. none of them came with instructions or anything indicating which was the original fuse so I assumed it was like every other faucet where the original came from the bottom (closer to the connector) and seemed to work fine. Comes with an easy to use crimp connector so you'll probably need one of those crimping pliers or maybe needle nose pliers (should be used first if you're already stripping wires). The description says it can work with up to a 10 amp fuse, although my 20 and 40 amp fuses seem to work fine I hope there isn't a fire hazard or anything. Since it's not actually listed, the red wire is about six inches long with one inch for the crimp connector.
