About 5 pounds of buckwheat husks packs it up nicely
Have used it a few times now filming wildlife in state parks and it works great! Haven't tried it with the plate and ballhead or gimbal installed yet, but so far it's very stable and comfortable for my 5d4 + 400mm f/2.8. The strap is a nice touch to keep from throwing it out the window when I spot critters and freak out.
