We bought this mat to use at home with a 6 year old and a cat to better cope with our jigsaw puzzle habit. It's a great idea, but it doesn't suit us. Had the following problems: - We are working on a 2000 piece Ravensburger puzzle that is 29.5 inches high. The rug is too small to fit in the puzzle (despite the advertisement) which means we have to move the edges inside the puzzle. roll and can't trust the edges as they stick out. - The felt mat *does* not allow parts to slip. While this is a good feature for folding the puzzle, it's downside to actually putting the puzzle together the way you can. t put the pieces together. That means you have to pick up and piece together all the puzzle pieces that aren't even slightly misaligned. They didn't "click" back together. I don't know how it will hold up with repeated folding.
