Review on Columbia Unisex Newton Mountain 👟 Outdoor Boys' Shoes in Regular Fit by Rene Putman

I don't know what's going on in the shoe industry, but this is the second major disappointment I've had with a major brand of hiking shoes, secondly Merrell. It's like they make their hiking shoes out of cheap, fake, flimsy rubber material that looks more like a rubber boot than a hiking boot. Oddly enough, when you walk in them, the shoe curves right above the laces and rests on the toes. I have a very similar model (Newton Ridge) in real leather, I like them a lot and I thought they were similar but I was very disappointed with the quality.
