Good, but too expensive

These diapers are not bad. We ordered size M for our 4.5 month old baby who has recently switched to a size 2 in nappies and huggies. We adhere to clean/odor-free/chemical-free diaper lines whenever possible. They are a bit different from the mainstream brands as they usually have more material and hang a bit lower between the child's legs. It's not necessarily a plus or minus, just a difference. I think because of this they have more flexibility in size. They look and fit very similar to the Ecoboom we recently tried. The tabs are pretty close to the center for her, so she could probably last a little longer in them. They also have leg flaps that hang lower than other diapers. I suspect they have some sort of anti-leak protection, but they can protrude from clothing (overalls). I tried to represent this function in my drawing. They also have a blue line indicator, although those are three thin lines and not a solid one. messy mess - but I don't find them the most absorbent. Certainly less than diapers, haggis or Ecoboom. So if you can change a diaper soon after giving birth, no problem. If the baby is in a car seat or bed and wearing a diaper for a long period of time I would not use this as I have found that moisture will seep in once the baby walks again. Considering that and the amount of time my toddler walks a day, I can't justify the price of a diaper which is close to a dollar at the time of writing this review. They are much larger than mainstream brands nappies and the same or maybe more expensive than Coterie nappies which I think have similar characteristics and are highly recommended for their absorbency. If they were competitively priced I would consider using them as day nappies considering they hold the mess and look as clean and green as disposable nappies but at the moment I just don't know how to justify the price target. of these.
