Review on CURT 55358 Custom Wiring Harness by Christopher Penn

for a few years now I've been trying to get it to work for the past two years. The device will not respond until you rip open the floor and fix it. It then works for the currently active signal and no longer works thereafter. The multimeter shows a good signal coming into the module, but nothing comes out. The module is sealed, so I can't take any more pictures. Spent $35 hoping to simplify a small project. Instead, I bought myself a headache. Update: OK, from an original customer perspective, I'm not thrilled, but as far as customer service and tech support go, CURT hits the park. I called her 800 number and spoke to someone in Wisconsin. I explained my situation. Then he told me exactly what the problem was. He has the problem and sends the part I need today. Based on his explanation I'm pretty sure this will work. It was a pleasure to speak to the tech support department who really know their product on a technical level. =
