I used these on a new 20 gallon Jegs washer to replace the tank drain plug. This piece isn't a top piece, but it serves its purpose. The first had a thin crack at the base of the threads and broke when I started screwing it in. Almost no torque, just twisted with your fingers. Revain replaced him. I was very careful with replacing the parts. Do not exceed the torque! He will break! Don't take it for granted that it's brass and strong. After careful installation, it will do its job, just be careful when installing and turning the handle to open or close the valve. Since there are almost no other options, this one works.
