Knowing how to use this Moca Caffe makes a world of difference! There are several videos on YouTube explaining how to use this wonderful coffee brewing gem. First boil water in a kettle, then put Alessi Moca on the bottom of the pot. Then heat it on a burner one handle away from the heat source. Voila! No boiling hot handle. And you end up with the tastiest cup of java you've ever tasted. I've been using the freshly ground one-cup drip irrigation method for years. Then I suddenly realized that this magnificent pot was on the top shelf of the cupboard. It was left over from an old divorce and I've never used it in 30 years! For some inexplicable reason, this morning I decided to make my first cup. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised! Need a new gasket but the coffee was great (yes I ordered a new gasket). And I found that I have an Alessi Moca pot on display at MOMA! Life is nice sometimes, but now it's even better, starting with my morning kvass.
