Review on LG Dryer Repair Kit: Drum Roller, 🔧 Idler Pulley, Belt Spring Replacement - 4581EL2002C, 4561EL3002A, 4400EL2001A by William Hunter

Bought at the end of April and it didn't even last until the end of August. After having problems with squeaks again and having trouble initiating a spin, I took things apart again to have a look. The pulley mechanism was destroyed. If you look at the photos you will see that the plastic wheel had a worn groove indicating the bearings were worn and it stopped turning even though the rest of the belt was turning. The strap also broke. The original idler pulley lasted over 10 years so this new one wears out so quickly that it is of poor quality. One of the 4 bearings replaced also had a largely worn bearing. I have ordered another brand kit here from Revain and will see if I have better luck. Very disappointed that I had to open the thing twice because of these details.
