Review on SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Minerals Elements Cardinal by Sarah Holmes

Great for cardinal shrimp!

This Sulawesi 7.5 is great for cardinal shrimp tanks. I was previously using 8.5. But it was very difficult to resolve. When changing the water, all the water became cloudy and everything left a powdery film. At the recommendation of another shrimp farmer I started with the 7.5 and have not looked back. It is great. It is very easy to apply and completely dissolves in water without any special steps. So you get crystal clear water every time. And the shrimp are hatching and comfortable, which of course is very important. I highly recommend this Sulawesi 7.5. Use 1 full scoop per 4 gallons of Rodi water.

Pros
 •
Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 is the most easily soluble version of our Sulawesi Mineral scope. It maintains a pH value of around 7.5 and is used to mineralize reverse osmosis water, rainwater, fully desalinated water, etc. Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 contains all the important minerals and trace elements that the well-known shrimp species from this region value for their health, their good grip and their need color. Cardinal shrimp breeders (Caridia dennerli) use it very successfully. This mineral salt promotes the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. Increases the carbonate and total hardness in the ratio KH/°dH = 0.42/1.0. Directions for use Add Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 to the water outside your aquarium. It dissolves almost completely within seconds and the water is immediately ready for use. We recommend adjusting the temperature of the new water to the temperature in your aquarium. Be sure to also add undissolved particles to the aquarium. Close container after each use. Dosing Reverse osmosis water, rainwater, fully desalinated water, etc. are remineralized with Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 until a hardness of approx. 6 °dH and/or a conductivity of approx. 270 +/- 40 µS (microsiemens) is reached. This corresponds to a measuring spoon with a small slider (approx. 3.5 g) for 15 liters of water.
