I bought this for my Raspberry Pi 3 running Retropie to use in my travel car for gaming and watching movies with KODI. I had to edit the Retropie-config.txt file to fit the screen size and still be able to use it on my big TV without having to edit the file each time. I changed the following lines to hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt=1024 600 60 6 0 0 0hdmi_drive=2. This little screen looks really great and has a built in speaker that works great with the Raspberry Pi's HDMI connection. I had a problem. with menu text in retropie, when I used the carbon theme it looked "fuzzy". I read a few articles about this and they said to edit the xml file and change the font size to 0.05. But I ended up just downloading a few different themes made specifically for small screens and blurry text is no longer a problem and it looks great! Overall I would recommend this small screen for portable retropie projects.
