If you plan to use Cricut, you need these mats. But you can extend the lifespan a little to save some money. Here are some ways to do this: 1) Wipe them down with a baby wipe or damp paper towel after each use. 2) Don't always start cuts in the same place. If you change the starting position, the wear of the mat will become more even. 3) Use spray glue. Something like Krylon 10-1/2-ounce Easy Tack Repositionable Adhesive Spray Most craft stores have something like this. If you find your carpet losing adhesion, simply mist it with a light spray. You can do this multiple times!
