Don't get confused - installation tools required - use Dorman part

. The problem is that the adhesive was so thick that the mirror would not fit into the recess in front of the tape fit had set. There really should be some cheap suction cups so you don't have to try and squeeze your fingers into a VERY tight hole to hold and align the mirror. Needless to say I got it wrong and can't do anything about it. LOST MONEY. I should have just spent the extra $12 and gotten an exact Dorman 56716 replacement with a full latch on base plate like the OEM. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GHSLHWY
