Bought based on reviews. I fell into despair. We had a problem with rats in an inaccessible part of the attic and the smell of rat urine/feces in the cupboard under the nest was intense. We tried every retail air freshener, none worked, and some gave off an odor that was cloyingly sweet or floral and kind of nauseating. I applied this stuff and it was incredibly effective in getting rid of the rat smell. The initially quite strong pine smell has subsided after a few days and I can no longer smell rat piss. I returned the closet. Put a few cups around the house, everything smells fresh and clean, easily eliminating the smell that comes from two dogs. i am sold
