This is the third epilator that I have owned. The two that came before it were also Philips. I appreciate epilators made by this manufacturer because they contain ceramic tweezers, which allow for a more gentle removal of unwanted hair. The hair becomes more rigid after being ironed. Also very happy with the shape, which is pleasing to the eye and easy to grasp in one's palm. I'm not a huge fan of epilators that are particularly compact. Before that, there was a product called Satin Perfect Philips. Although it performed admirably, the battery reportedly became less effective over time. The new epilator performs a good job of removing hair, it leaves very few gaps, it doesn't seem as unpleasant as the old one did, and it's comfortable and enjoyable to have in your hand. It is common for it to fail to remove hair the very first time, but this should not be cause for alarm. I am relieved to know that it is possible to get an epilator that does not come with a variety of attachments, as I do not typically put that many of them to use. In general, I am content with the purchase that was made.
