Looks aren't everything, buyers beware

Downgraded from 2 stars to 1 because those headlights annoy me every day. They're too bright. Other drivers constantly shine their light on me, even when set/aimed ridiculously low (so low that the high beams are projected onto a spot 30 feet in front of the jeep. On the other side (pun intended) is the high beams Not annoying every day because the low beams are so bright you NEVER need to use your high beams! Still, I find it hard to believe they are actually DOT SAE approved. I'm not a kid anymore, I haven't driven a car for years of being pulled over for fear of being stopped but I'm sure soon I'll stop and bully about driving and it gets worse when braking or at a traffic light I get around this problem by having the light on every time I turn it on , manually switch to the "on" position (for some reason the flickering doesn't occur when I switch to the "on" position ) Of course, then every time I turn off the ignition and ΓΆf Open the door only to hear a screech telling me I left my headlights on. For reasons unknown, I found that only my halos were on one morning when the car was off/parked for over 12 hours (and the headlight switch wasn't on). I checked all the headlight switch settings before putting the key in the ignition and nothing turned. I then started the engine, flipped the headlight switch through all the settings again, then turned the jeep back off and the halo rings were still on. Frustrated, I popped the hood open and pulled out the fuse adapter that the halo rings were attached to. (By the way, this is the recommended connection method). THEN, after trying to drive with the halo fuse off (because I've had places I needed to be and didn't have time to shoot those trash halos), I found that with no fuse box connected, ALL the halo's (and regular turn signals ) flash together whether you are turning left or right. It happened to me in front of the cop, it was incredibly embarrassing, I just raised my hand and smiled wryly when it was my turn. I don't know what caused the halo to stay on, which caused the fuse to be pulled, which caused this opening, but what if that fuse ever blows? I will probably see this problem again. It also means that putting Halo on the toggle switch isn't possible for those of you who think it should be possible, I doubt it. As for the phone app, it's just junk. . Sometimes it doesn't connect with Bluetooth. The colors you choose in the app are the opposite of the Halo display colors. e.g. red = blue, etc. Music color change is limited to MP3 files that need to be downloaded and saved locally and then added to the list in the app. What a joke (don't expect the lights to switch to streaming music like Spotify or Pandora etc). Basically nothing is as it should be with these lights, it is a HORRIBLE product. I will say that Xprite contacted me several times. I just ignore them (hoping they'll be as annoyed with this review as I am with their product)
