I have 10 ceiling fans: 7 inside and 3 outside. All have tension chains and the location of the fans is different. It's always frustrating looking up and figuring out which chain to pull, or just randomly pulling one. This is the perfect solution. I wasn't sure initially if they would be strong/heavy enough to stay in place so I ordered a pair. I'm tall so I wanted to get under the chains without hitting my head. It is enough just to keep them at the right height, and then clip the chain between the beads with wire cutters. They are simply snapped onto the existing pearl necklace.
