I am so happy with these LED bulbs. I installed them over my cabinets as it was a lot easier and looked just as pretty in my opinion. The attached picture is actually not true. You look almost dazzling in this photo, but you're not. They provide a nice glow and enough light so that you don't have to turn on your main light for small trips into the kitchen. I have a timer that turns on and off every night and works like a charm. The soldering is very light so suspension shouldn't be a problem and I also have to note that the cables are very long. If you install them under a closet, you can cut and splice them to the length you want, which is easy enough and also reduces the risk of fire since you're reducing the resistance of the cable. an infrared thermometer to see if they are hot. My headlights registered 85 degrees after being on all night and the ambient temp was 74. I suspect they either updated their design or the previous reviewer who wrote 121F had a defective unit. a hole (no more than 1 cm in diameter) in the top of my cable management cabinet. Since I put them on top, I didn't secure them in any way, I just spread them evenly across the top. No comments on durability as they were only installed for 2 nights but so far I like them 100%.
