It works great reading my micro and full size SD cards. I've tried some cheaper devices with mixed results. USB 3.0 speed is a big plus. The main reason I chose this device was its flat top. I needed something that I could mount flush with the underside of my desk right side up. The cable also had to protrude all the way back for cable routing. I also wanted it to be as small as possible as most card readers have extra slots that I no longer need. It was the only device that met all my needs and was from a company I trust.
