This is a beautiful reflective silver as is a high gloss. Minc foil works great with the toner and my laminator, and also works great with the Minc toner pen and laminator. However, I've found that Minc foil doesn't work very well with adhesives or embossing powders in the laminator. Minc foil either covers too much (embossing powder, also embroidery powder, creates a very thick line), or minc foil doesn't stick at all (various sticky pads and sticky inks). Pen appliqués through a laminator don't lend themselves well to embossing with powders and glue inks.
