Very nice stand. Some installation tips. . .

VIVO Dual LCD Monitor Freestanding Desktop Mount with optional thru-screw/stand Fully adjustable for heavy-duty Fits up to 2 screens up to 27" (STAND-V002F) There was a cable hole on the back of my desk etc. so I installed it there and didn't use the stand that came with the monitor. Installation was a breeze, with what I thought was a very good instruction booklet. The brochure is printed on very nice glossy paper and is in English only, making the instructions easy to follow. Users who don't read English need to ask for help. All parts, screws, etc. are individually sealed in plastic bags for easy disassembly for assembly. Excellent work. plus VIVO. Now I've found two things: Thing #1, after raising the right monitor with the adjustment screw so that it was flush with the left monitor (I had to raise it all the way but it was enough), the right monitor started up of the VESA plate wobble a lot. Sagging once lifted. VIVO willingly sent me another VESA plate, but that didn't do anything to fix the shaking. However, I found a fairly simple solution. After raising the monitor to the height of the other monitor with the adjustment screw and before installing the flare nut, I took out my soldering iron and dripped some solder into the area where the screw goes through the plate. This filled the gap in the hole and after reinstalling the flare nut the monitor is now as stable as the one that was not lifted. The hole is enlarged to make it easier to install the monitor on the stand, but the monitor will shake when lifted. I think the problem is that the cap nut "bottoms out" on the bolt before he can tighten it. If VIVO supplies a regular nut instead of a flare nut, or a deeper flare nut for use on the post, this issue will most likely be resolved. When the monitor doesn't need to be lifted, the acorn nut fixes the VESA plate securely to the arm so it doesn't wobble. Didn't feel like searching for the right size nut so I just put some solder in it. A real nut would be much better. How you screw it up to fit secondly you should first look at the swivel nut which which secures VESA plate to stand. This fixes the monitor and prevents it from shaking. This not only prevents the monitor from accidentally jumping off the stand. This also securely attaches the VESA plate to the stand. If I didn't have to deal with the hesitation, this would definitely be a five star stand. Thing #2, the stand comes with all the ankle tension settings set very tight. After promoting them all, the stand became much more useful to me. Now I can grab the monitor by the bottom frame and drag it to where I want it without struggling with it. The hinges are now VERY loose but still secure. They don't wobble at all. If you plan on leaving the monitors in place after installation, the tension is adjusted well enough. If, like me, you plan to move monitors, you might want to consider relieving your joints A LOT. Moving the monitor closer for photo editing was a huge benefit that I didn't consider when purchasing this stand. Thought I just had it to have more space to tidy up my desk! In addition, the stand comes with three Allen keys needed to install and adjust the stand. The wire guide offers storage space for three Allen keys. I thought it was a great idea.
