Review on Nintendo DS Lite Hinge Axle by Eric Owens

See image of this part with notes we wrote. We received a part that actually looked older than Nintendo's original hinge, which was several years old. The original had crazy glue on it and didn't work. We received this part and sent a message to the seller. Although the reply came promptly - same day - the message was unacceptable. We were told we had a new part and the only advice given so far is to ask one of their people for help installing the part. If the part is really new, the manufacturing process is terrible. The plastic used is significantly softer than the original, as evidenced by the way the top is blown. The part is rusty and does not move properly. Also, this is the wrong part! Look elsewhere for replacement parts for the DS; other options are available.
