I really want to like this laptop. It has great specs (TB4, Wi-Fi 6, good display) and average battery life compared to the competition. However, I just can't get over the quality control issues. I've had my laptop for about 35 days and so far: - The speakers started wheezing and stopped working intermittently - The battery would refuse to charge requiring me to perform a full battery reset - The unit became abnormally hot to the point that I fear for the durability of the device. Overall, I'd advise people to stay away from this laptop, at least until Acer tightens quality control. It's very frustrating to see a $700 laptop fail so badly and I would advise people to put their money elsewhere. EDIT: The laptop completely died this week. It's been 4 months.
